Getting Started
|
For you to enjoy
our audio and video broadcast, you'll need to have software
called
a "player" on your computer. This software does all the
work! Also called streaming audio and video. Don't worry,
this program is FREE! If you already have one
of these go ahead and listen! If not, you can download it
below.

Other Requirements
|
We will be using
the Flash Plug-in, in future Soundwaves2000 upgrades. We will
be slowly integrating the Flash into Soundwaves' Web Site
and Broadcast.

need to be able to accept cookies, in your
browser. We do not use cookies to spy on our visitors! We
use cookies to help us improve our services to you. We in
no way track your browsing or listening habits.

Having Problems
Receiving the broadcasts:

| 1. There could
a problem with your computer |

Sometimes your
computer can have problems with
the software, hardware, etc.

| 2. Network congestion

These problems,
arise from build up of traffic on the
Internet, server going down, etc..
|
| 3. Technical problem
of Soundwaves2000 |

Technical problems
of Soundwaves2000 can come about
from network congestion problems, as well. If the signal can't
make it to our servers, it won't get to you! Other problems
do
come up from time to time, we work hard to make sure
everything is running smoothly on our end!

Can I use
WebTV?
|
Yes
and No *. WebTV currently supports up to
RealAudio 5.0. Since we encode most of our programming with
the Real Audio G2 encoder, WebTV users cannot access our programming.
WebTV user should contact the WebTV Service personal to find
out when WebTV will support Real Audio G2.
* Any webcast in Windows Media is supported by WebTV.

How to Install
a Player?
|
1. Go to the
download site.(Real
Player, Windows
Media or Winamp)
Click on the link for the player download. You will need to
accurately identify the
type of system you have. If you do not know the answer to
some of the questions, consult your system's manual before
continuing with the download.
2. When prompted, choose save to disk. Either download to
the
default directory on the hard drive, or to another directory
of your
choice. Remember where you have chosen to save the download.
3. Open the directory you have downloaded the installation
files to,
then double click on the executable file. Follow the onscreen
prompts until the installation is complete.
